All of the rules and guidelines pertaining to the 4-H Food Show are in the Rules and Guidelines document below. Entry paperwork is due by January 21. You can complete your entry by turning in your paperwork at the Extension Office or emailing your entry to Rachel Cooper at: firstname.lastname@example.org
This contest is open to ALL Walker County 4-H members.
Clover Kids are also invited to participate in this contest. Clover Kids just need to turn in the page of the entry form with your name and recipe to let us know you are entering the contest. Then come to the contest with your dish and pictures of you making your dish for the interview. The pictures should be on a poster or on a piece of paper. (You do this however is easiest for you.)
The paperwork for 4-H’ers in grades 3-12 is in a fillable format. Please note that an “Eligibility Form” (which is inside the rules and guidelines packet) is needed for all participants in grades 3-12. All you need to do is print it out and take it to school with you and have someone at school sign off that you are academically eligible to participate in the Food Show. (As with all competitions in 4-H, a student must be academically eligible to participate in this contest and this is verified by the school.)
If you have any questions at all about the 4-H Food Show, please don’t hesitate to contact us at the Extension Office.
