Extension Educationin Walker County

Those planning on exhibiting at the 2020 Major Shows (Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, or Austin) there will be an entry night held @ Walker County Extension Office on Monday, November 2, 2020 from 3:00-6:00 PM. Entry forms will be filled out, thus parents and exhibitors must be present for signatures. Don't forget to bring exhibitors social security number and Quality Counts number. Late entries will not be accepted. THIS DATE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL MAJOR SHOW EXHIBITORS!  

Archery Club will practice Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 5:00 PM at the Walker County Extension Office. If you have any questions, you can contact the office at 936-435-2426.

The Shotgun Club will practice at Able Ammo on Wednesday, November 4th. Different practice times are assigned. If you have any questions, please contact the 4-H Office at 936-435-2426.

Rifle Club will practice Thursday, November 5, 2020 starting at 3:30 PM at the Walker County Extension Office. If you cannot make it that early, you are still welcome to join when you can!

Walker County Fair Rabbit Doe Validation 6:00 PM @ Walker County Fairgrounds Breeding stock must be of the exhibitor's ownership by this date. Exhibitors must be present. Only those with valid and written excuses (within 7 days) will be considered by the Rabbit Committee for and exhibitor's absence. Dog Club will meet Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 6:00 PM at the Walker County Fairgrounds.  

Horse Club Practice will be held Saturday, November 7th at the Walker County Fairgrounds starting at 8:30 AM.

Walker County 4-H Quilting Club will meet on Sunday, November 8, 2020 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Huntsville Church of Christ on Highway 30.

New Waverly 4-H Club will meet Monday, November 9, 2020 at 7:00 PM at New Waverly Elementary School in the cafeteria. Clover Kids will meet at 6:30 PM

The Walker County Huntsville 4-H Food Club will have an in-person/Zoom meeting on Tuesday, November 10th at 6:00 PM. Members are welcome to attend in person at the Huntsville Church of Christ or login via Zoom. If you will be logging in via Zoom, please register below.
